Rain!!!!!!!!

For the last past freaking week or so it has rained like the sky is trying to flood the earth like in biblical times. This rain is getting on my nerves because it seems like i have gained allergies this year. For my whole life i have never had allergies at all. I have never had to blow my nose for hours (it seems like days) at a time. This change of weather has given me allergies. Well my grandmom says this i see it as a disease that is killing me slowely and painfully. I wish that the rain would stoop for at least a few hours so that my nose will try and heal up instead of being raw all the time. Then to top it all off i have never sneezed more than two or three times in a row, but now since this stupid weather i have been sneeizing like ten or twelve times in a row before i have to pinch my nose shut for three hours so i wont sneeze any more. Then i have been trying to mow my grass for this past week or so, but i can not get it done because the grass will not dry up because it does not have time. I went ahead and mowed it yesterday but that was a mistake because the wet grass was sticking to the mower blades. It was a horrible experience.

A sad but yet happy time.

Well well well it seems that the greatest team in college basketball today has been defeated. Well at least the best team that every body except me thinks. I know that i am not a big fan of the tigers, but i was a little bit frustrated that they lost. Well i was happy because i won fifty dollars because i bet on Kansas to win, but still it was a shock that they lost. This was a game that Memphis was supposed to win by like twenty points, so i was confused because Kansas came out running and gunning. Kansas was a surprise because they are not an offensive powerhouse, but instead a defensive one. Then Kansas was scoring like they were the phoenix suns instead of the Kansas Jayhawks. This game made my whole family mad except for my sister and i. We were both pulling for Kansas. My sister was pulling for them because she wanted to be different. I voted for them because the odds were in favor of me winning alot of money. I knew the whole time that i needed to put up more than fifty dollars, but i was afraid to because i personally thought that the Jayhawks were going to lose by alot.

MY SON IS WALKING.

Well as im sure you picked up by my title my eight month old son has already begun to walk. It came out of no where. Well i mean he used to pick himself up and lean on the couch, the wall, and peoples legs with no problem, but the other day he just took off and ran into my girlfriends (his mommies) arms. Ever since then he does not crawl unless he falls down while he is walking across the rooom. This makes me so happy because it seems like he is growing up, and i wont have to hold him all the time. I mean he does not just sit there and cry all day long now. He will actually just sit thre and play by himself without me holding him. He can not yet run like he wants too but he can walk with a surprising speed that i thought that he would not be able to reach yet. He will lean up on something until he can catch his bearings, but as soon as he does he will take off into the open floor of my house until he steps on something and falls down. He is not stunned by this at all. After he falls down he will get right back up and do it all again.

I know that this is not a usual topic for a blog, but i thinnk that i want to talk about it anyway. The other nnight my girlfriend and i went to the movie theatre and saw the movie 21. This was a movie that she wanted to see so i decided okay we can go see her stupid movie. Well it turned out that this was a very good movie. I know that it a little bit weird, but card games and card tricks interest me. I enjoy learning new card games to play. I even like to learn different ways to cheat at card games. By the way dont bet me any money on a card game if you dont plan on losing. I have become pretty good even without cheating. Any ways as i was saying this movie caught my attention right off the bat. There was a college student who went to MIT. So you know he was damn mart at math and he was already accepted to Harvard medical school, but he had to compete to get the one schlorship that was offered to everyon ein the world. Well he was broke and had to find a way to get the money. So he was confronted by a group of people that wanted to use him to make mmoney on card counting team for black jack. So basically he joined the team made alot of money. Got robbed. Twice, and then he told his story to the Harvard guy and got the scholorship in the end.

The Final Four.

The Final four is a big step for a team that has been at best in the past a mediorcre team. The University of Memphis has made it to the final four for the first time in about twenty three years i do believe. This is slowely setting the team up as a power house. I know that we have had a few really good seasons in a row now, but that does not mean anything because we have never been able to step up and take the tournament by storm and win the whole thing. That is the only thing that matters in the world of competitive basketball. Well thats all that matters in all professional sports or competition for that matter. Look at my favorite team in the NFL. The New England Patriots. They went all the way to the super bowl with out losing, but they could not pull off a win the the big game. So now the whole season wa for naught, and they could have lost all the games in the season and been just as well off. This is a lesson that the Tigers need to learn. They need not think about the season in which they lost one game, but instead focus on the game that is right in front of them.

Memphis sports.

Well well well it is about time that the city of Memphis tennessee has something to cheer about. Memhis can now cheer for the fact that they have a good team. This is about the first time in the history of Memphis that they have been able to say that we are better than you at something. Memphis' college teams have been okay, but have never been very good to the point that they are going to have a chance to accually win the tournament. Lets face it the Grizzlies are just about the worst team in the NBA. I do believe that they are the worst. They might be ranked second to last but im not exactly sure. All I know is that they are horrible and can not say that they are even a decent team. I mean they have never ever even won a playoff game. They used to be an okay team. They were able to scrape the eighth seed in the playoffs, but they could not even win a damn game. Now that the University of Memphis is doing great that gives the people that live in Memphis a reason to be proud of the stank pot city that we live in.

Reading's

Okay i thought tht the readings that we were supposed to be going to were going to be a big boring fiasco that was not worth my time. I was not sure that i would even be able to stay awake for the whole thing, but i came to find out that thay are not as bad as i thought that they would be. It was not what i would call a fun night out or anything like that, but i was able to pay attention to the readers and not catch myself snoring. Well at least wehad three authors that knew what they were talking about instead of three crazy people who just like to talk because of the exposure it will get them. The first reader christine keneally was talking about the evolution of language. Yeah that is not a very entertaining subject for me but i was able to pay attention for the duration of her reading. Then out of no where she caught my attention by saying that a dolphin put a person on punishment. That was about the highlight of my night until ms. sullivan gave us the story of the Albanians. That was a very interesting story that i listened to the whole way through.
