President Press conference.

Okay i must admit that this week has been very very fun because instead of sitting in the room taking notes on simple things, and talking about our big paper we have actually been ingaging in fun and enjoyable activities that keep me wanting to come to class everyday. Like Tuesday's debate where we had to learn about arguing for the simple sake of arguing was a little off the wall but yet it was an intresting experience. Although tuesday was fun I must say that Thursday's Presidential Press Conference was one of the more fun things that i have done in my school career. I was able to joke, but be serious at the same time because we were talkiing about serious topics, but we were still allowed to act like young people when we were answering them. This week has been a very fun, interesting, and exciting week in my English 1020 class, and i can truely say that if in my high school we did exercises like these i would have probabley been much more involved in my school that i was.

Classroom argument.

I think that the classroom argument that we had to do on tuesday the 18 was a really good thing to do. The argument was not only one of the most fun things that we have done so far this year it also helped me with the whole concept of finding an argument. the argument also helped me be able to make up a strong argument for my big paper. The argument was fun because it allowed us to be ourselves and just straight up argue whatever we wanted to argue about. This was a good way to let out steam and just get to know our classmates that we see everyday in class but do not really try to meet in a friend type manner. This aregument was fun because i was on the reciepent end of maricus' death stare, so the whole time i was laughing. Also emily was being the team leader of her team because she seemed like she was really getting into the argument. All in all i will say that daniel lead our team very well, but we could not overcome the fact that the other team had so many "PERSONALITY PROBLEMS" whatever that is supposed to mean.

parents are crazy.

Okay my girlfriend works at a daycare, and has to deal with litle bad ass kids all day. Now some of these children are not so bad, and then there are the ones that continuesly piss her off to a degree that she gets mad at the world, but the main problem is that the majority of the parents are dumb asses. The majority of these dumb ass parent get mad at the fact that they think that there are too many kids in each class. The fact is that there are only four kids to each one teacher. That is not too many that is a small number. Then there are the parents that get mad because you dont hold their child for the whole day. That is impossible to do because there are more than one child in the room at the same time, and i think it hard to hole four to five children at once. I know that i am just ranting on and on about these crazy people but it helps me sleep at night because i know that i have talked bad about them behind their back. That is to say that these parents more than likely tallk about my girlfriend behind her back

Memphis #1.

Well i was watching the news last night and i saw it. memphis is once again back to the top of the country in college basketball. This does not really affect me because i dont really watch that much college sports because they are a little boring to me. I like to watch professional sports because they are more interesting. The fact that my college is number one in the country is a very cool thing because i can call all my friends that went to different colleges or ones that did not go to college and tell them that my college is better than yoursa because we can oplay basketball, and then win at it when we do play. I mean the fact that they are good and all is nice but i dont think that they are still people playing a game. There is also the fact that Tennessee is still a much better all around team that has handed memphis their only loss of the season, and will give them another if we play them again in the tournament. The University of North Carolina is also a better team than the University of memphis any way.

Memphis weather.

How come the freaking weather in memphis is so crazy? Why is it that when i wear shorts the weather is cold so the next day i wear pants and the weather is extra hot? This stuff is unnerving because im going crazy. I can not stand this contriversial weather that can not make up its mind whether the weather wants to give me heat stroke or frost bite. I really want it to just be warm like it is in my home state Florida. Well the temperature is higher but it is way less humid so it feels WAY better than memphis ever feels. Well i would not mind if the weather went cold or hot i just want it to make up its mind and pick one, or just stay one temp for more than thirteen minutes before it changes in the complete different direction. I do hope that the weather changes soon because when the temperature fluxuates spo often it gets people sick, and when people arew sick they complain about everything in the world. They also call into work and leave me to run a store by my self but that is another story.

School shootings.

In the past few weeks in memphis there have been about six school shootings. These shootings are rising up out of no where and getting innocent people hurt. Dont get me wrong i dont think that all of the people that are getting shot are as innocent as they say they are. I remember about two weeks ago there were four days in a row where four different school had a shooting. The bad thing is that i knew two of the people that were in two seperate schools when two seperate shootings happened. Both of the stories were pretty much the same. The stories go that either a group or simply two people got into an altrication and people started coming around the scene and boosting it up. After the bystanders boosted up the scenes so much the people that were in the altrication get their friends to get into the argument also. As soon as ten people are all arguing with each other a domino effect begins to happen. just like in world wars. people get involved because their friends are, and you know everyone has a friend that will allways jump to your defense. Then when someone gets their sorry ass beat they pull out a pistol and try to act bad. Then someone on the other side pulls one out, and well the rest is history.

Dentristry.

My life long dream has been to grow up big and tall and become a dentist. I could not tell you why i wanted to become a dentist so bad, but none the less i have allways wanted to be a dentst and i still do wish to become a dentist after i graduate from the University of Memphis. As a young child i was the odd kid because instead of wanting Gi joe action figure type things i wanted stethascope and doctor kits so i could pretend to be a doctor or a dentist or where ever my imagination took me at that particular point in time. I enjoyed playing games like these. i do not have any clue why medical stuff amazed me. I was taking an anatomy class at Craigmont when i made the firm and serious decision to take on a medical feild job. This was a big step in my life because i am not the kind of person that makes these types of decisions very often. Well i guess the fact that i am lazy and dentists only work about four nine hour days a week didnt help me make my decision to be a dentist. Probabley the main thing that helped me make up my mind to be a dentist was the fact that i had recently been going to an orthadontist. I have had these damded braces for about three years and everytime i go to his office i give him a check for about three hundred dollars.
